Purpose and scope

These terms govern the use of the Aequitas EU Market Passport website and SaaS service operated by Digital Aequitas Strategy S.R.L. [company details placeholder]. The service

Aequitas EU Market Passport provides preliminary EU market-entry compliance mapping for non-EU operators, generating risk flags, recommended actions and documentation checklists from user-provided answers and versioned legal rule packs. The service explicitly does not provide legal advice (see the No Legal Advice notice, incorporated by reference).

User obligations

You agree to provide accurate information; use the service only for lawful self-assessment purposes; not to resell outputs as legal opinions; not to probe, overload or reverse-engineer the service; and to respect the Acceptable Use Policy.

Platform obligations

We provide the service with professional diligence, maintain versioned legal rule packs with review dates, mark AI-generated content in reports, and operate the security controls described in the Security Statement.

Intellectual property

The platform, rule pack structure, scoring methodology and branding remain our property. You retain ownership of the data and documents you upload; you grant us a limited licence to process them to provide the service. Generated reports are yours to use internally and with your advisers.

Liability

The service provides preliminary mapping based on your inputs. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for business decisions taken without qualified legal review, for inaccuracies caused by incorrect user inputs, or for indirect damages. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Aggregate liability is capped at fees paid in the preceding 12 months. [Liability clause to be validated by counsel per governing law.]

Suspension, termination, changes
