Cookie and Browser Storage Policy

Scope

This policy explains the cookies and browser-storage technologies used by Aequitas EU Market Passport. Browser local storage is technically distinct from a cookie but is covered here because it stores information on the user's device.

Strictly necessary storage

apai.answers.v1 stores assessment answers so the user can continue the assessment. apai.result.v1 stores the generated preliminary result. apai.consent.v1 stores the privacy choice, timestamp and policy version. These first-party entries remain until the user resets the assessment, changes the preference or clears website data in the browser. A secure payment-entitlement record may be used after the payment integration is activated; it will be strictly necessary and used only to verify report access.

Optional categories

The interface permits separate choices for analytics and marketing. Optional analytics and marketing tools are not active in the current public release. A saved preference does not itself activate such a tool. If an optional provider is introduced, the inventory, provider, purpose and duration will be added here before activation, and the tool will remain blocked unless valid consent has been given.

Managing your choice

Rejecting optional technologies does not prevent use of the free assessment. You may reset website storage through browser controls. Resetting assessment data does not erase payment or accounting records held by DAS outside the browser where those records must be retained by law.
